I'm wondering if anyone would be willing to share the Green Jack recording with me or perhaps even post a few songs on youtube? I would really like to learn the songs to sing for my children. Subject: Tune Req: Sylvia Mehta or Green Jack From: GUEST,sundj30@hotmail.com Date: 29 Dec 04 - 01:34 PM I am looking for songs by Sylvia Mehta written in a traditional English vein. About 30 years ago a friend gave my family a cassette of her songs titled "Green Jack", which has since been misplaced (I think she got it when she was doing Waldorf teacher training in England). I have a copy of the words to 2 songs from that tape: "The Fosterer" and "February", remember the melody to February but have forgotten the other tune. I would love to have the tape again, or similar by her since I remember many of the songs were great. All I can find on a websearch is her "Families Festivals and Food" book. Any help would be appreciated |
