Bedfordshire based duo Life and Times, made up of Graeme Meek and Barry Goodman will be the guest at the fist 'Second Sunday' of 2005 on January 9 at 8pm at the Rose and Crown, St Michael's Street. Barry and Graeme specialise in their own traditionally-inspired songs and tunes and are known as excellent performers. Apart from their two sets, the rest of the evening is in singaround format, so musicians and singers please come ready to sing a song or play some tunes as well as enjoying two excellent sets from Barry and Graeme.

'Second Sundays' have been described by others as 'free singarounds'. This is incorrect. As usual, there will be a collection and you will be invited to contribute what you would expect to pay to hear such excellent performers at a folk club. All the money in the collection goes to the guests.

Life and Times have been 'doing it' for a long time and surely deserve
more recognition than they DO get . Good musicianship , and some well crafted songs .
