Subject: Jamup and Honey---Old-time Opry members From: Big Jim from Jackson Date: 01 Jan 05 - 01:28 PM I have been able to locate one source with recorded material by Opry commedians, Jamup and Honey. They were a black-comedy duo who were on the Opry for many years. The source I've located is "Hank Williams: Live at the Opry." Is there a better source of their material? I don't know how much they have on the above sours---I just ordered it. I remember seeing them back in the mid-forties at the Opry, and I remember hearing them on the radio, as well. Any information on recordings by them or Robert Lunn, another Opry comic, would be appreciated. |

She has two of Robert's songs on her site (The Original Talking Blues, and The Old Sow) and refered me the Starday album he recorded, but I have not been able to locate a copy. Thanks for refreashing the thread. |
