And she only saw parts of it as she was outside, checking tickets for a good part of the time. Luckily we were able to keep the door open and hear everything.

Musically it was a fantastic evening - and as varied (and balanced) as folk can get. Thanks again all the artists who gave their time and talents. And thanks again to Lynne and Ted for all their hard work in making it happen.

A VERY big thankyou to everyone who was involved in the gig - all the performers who appeared free of charge, the helpers on the door and raffle, the Hotel staff... the list goes on! Also to MBSLynne for going out and coaxing raffle prizes out of local businesses!

It was a brilliant evening - we raised £676.50 for the relief and reconstruction work, which is absolutely fantastic!

And a thankyou of course to everyone who came, without whom we wouldn't have made anything!

We are arranging a fund-raiser for South East Asia at the Royal Hotel, Ashby de la Zouch on Thursday 10th February.

The concert will feature Sally Barker, together with a selection of other local bands, including Brassneck.

Tickets will shortly be available at £5.00 each... if you are within one parsec of Ashby, please come along and support us! All proceeds will go towards helping the region recover from the disaster.
