Subject: RE: Luke Kellys banjos From: GUEST,Maurice Date: 18 Jan 05 - 02:51 PM I think I saw him at some time playing a Vega longneck (Pete Seeger type). |
Subject: RE: Luke Kellys banjos From: samundcandy Date: 19 Jan 05 - 01:19 AM Yes, Maurice is right. Yesterday I phoned with a personal friend of Luke, he confirmed that Luke played an American VEGA Banjo beside the Merlin one. In another folk chat there is a hint that Luke got a VEGA banjo from Tommy Makem. See: http://makem.com/wwwboard/read.php?f=1&i=389&t=389 |

Subject: RE: Luke Kellys banjos From: Brian Hoskin Date: 14 Jan 08 - 08:34 AM I'm guessing that the 'rock museum' referred to is the Irish Music Hall of Fame, which I believe is currently closed. |
