Hi Everybody!

As many of you know, I am currently taking courses at the local university to become certified to teach Elementary and/or Special Education. One of the classes I am taking this semester is Creative Expressions.

One of our assignments is to interview an artist, this being defined as someone who frequently practices their craft...not necessarily someone who makes a living from their art. The range includes any kind of craft, art or music....so you KNOW I thought of all you fine folks here at Mudcat!!! Here's the thing. At the moment, I am looking just to create a list of folks I could talk to about their specific form of art. The interviews would involve a phone call or maybe a somewhat lengthy email exchange. I am wondering if some of you would be willing to let me or another university student interview you. All the other students are pre-service teachers as well. Please PM me if you would be interested!

Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Michelle :)

Thanks Bobert...I'll be PMing you soon!

Whew!

Iz here to say that I'm mighty glad that I was snowed in today 'cause I got the interview questions like last night and, to do the interview any level of justice, figure 4 to 5 hours of typing. I just finished and I am beat. Sho nuff put a hurtin' on my head but..

... that's what beer is for...

Did I say I'm beat?

Hi Everyone!

I have received several responses to the interview questions and want to thank ALL of you for taking the time to reply. I have been reading through many of them and sorting out information so please forgive me for not responding personally right away. I will be PMing each of you soon!!!

Again, many thanks to all of you who gave of yourself and your time so that I might have thoughtful, insightful information to apply both to this class project and to further my skills as a teacher.

Michelle   :)

sadly my art is a secret exotic craft and the danger is that unsympathetic questioning might disturb the rare jewel..... that aura, wherein lies the still centre of all my creativity. And that would really shit things up.

only kidding ......

the website will tell you what I do, and has my e-mail - what egomaniac could resist?
