Ohhhhhhh....the BABY thing drives me CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Have you noticed that one of the other couples has picked up the nauseating habit?   Everytime she says Baby my husband and I mimic her and just groan.

In a way, it's kind of funny to us because my beloved husband used to call me Babe all the time when we first met....it drove me NUTS! He thought he was being sweet and endearing (loved the thought) but I HATE that kind of thing....BLECH!!!!!

I also think that the older couples get more out of the race and the set of folks that won the last Amazing Race had a certain peace about them...they weren't so uptight and ugly with one another....I was very happy to see them win!

Okay, I know I look like an idiot going on about this show, but it's about the only show on television that I do like to watch (we get a grand total of 3 channels when the weather is good!). I love to learn about the different customs and to see other parts of the world! If I got the travel channel or any of the music channels or TLC or A&E, I'd likely be in front of the television for a very long time! Such a sad, sad statement, but so very true!!!!!!!!

I watched it once and felt entertained. To watch it again however would seem like watching the same commercial for 22 minutes.

we must have just got the last series here in Oz. there were several really horrible couples.

the ones who call each other "baby" all the time. the controlling abusive boyfriends, (does Christy & Colin sound right), the whingeing girlfriends........

Yes the missus and I watch it too. I have to say I loved the winners of the last version. I find the black people on the show appreciate the travel and adventure much more than the yuppified white folks they find. The older folks appreciate it more than the younger ones, too.

I think Jonathan is an abusive husband and Victoria a classic enabling personality. They are deeply unhealthy and a bit disturbing to watch!

Well I confess I watch it and I was truly sorry to see Gus and Hera go. Now all that are left are a bunch of whinning yuppie scum ESPECIALLY Johnathan! I would gladly deck him should the opportunity ever arise! It is hard to believe those two are married, hard to believe they will stay married after this is over and as for being entrepeneurs, Only a total jerk would identifiy himself that way. Opportunist with no scruples, I'd say.

I watch the Amazing Race! I love to see all the neat things to do in this world. What bothers me about the show are the folks who are disgusted with the way some of the world lives. The particular bunch of folks on the current Amazing Race aren't too bad except for the woman who is a model...she whines about EVERYTHING. Jonathon and Victoria aren't much better.
