Subject: RE: info: George Harrison at Albert Hall '92 From: GUEST,Keith Date: 30 Jul 13 - 09:30 PM I was there! It was great. He did all his best solo stuff and a few Beatles numbers, including Taxman, I want to tell you(Opened with that) something, Piggies, Here comes the sun. Bonus was Ringo came on to drum for While My guitar gently weeps. Concert started with short solo sets from Gary Moore & Joe Walsh which were also great. Gary played the Clapton parts on WMGGW. I was lucky, friends of mine heard about the gig on the radio that day and where the tickets were going on sale, we got box seats with bar service! I'm a beatles fan from the age of 2 when they started io Britain, I'd seen McCartney & Wings in the 70's so now I could say I've seen 3/4 of the Beatles, which unless you're 10 years older than me, is as good as you can get. |

Subject: info: George Harrison at Albert Hall '92 From: sixtieschick Date: 22 Jan 05 - 12:29 PM Hail unto thee, I am seeking info from anyone who attended the concert organized by George Harrison to benefit the Natural Law Party on April 6, 1992 at the Royal Albert Hall in London. I believe Ringo Starr and Julian Lennon performed and some of Paul McCartney's children were in attendance. However, I can't verify even such basic information. If you can describe the concert, who performed, and any details you remember about it, I would be most appreciative. Miriam |
