For anyone who is not sure why the acronyms are necessary, try typing in the mudcat chat real fast to get a relevant word in edgewise, especially when there are fifteen people in there, and five conversations going at once. :) It's especially useful in chat rooms. I try to use it as sparingly as possible, however.

A colleague at work always replied to any request to land a hand with the announcement that he was Far Too Busy. FTB became a much loved catch phrase throughout the section. Following yet another reorganisation some said to me that he was "TFB never mind FTB" I knew exactly what he meant
