Hi jimmyt
Get a hold of the Boston Globe's (newspaper) Thursday Calender section, they got a pretty good listing. Also get a hold of the Boston Folk Song Society's news letter (maybe online?). I believe "Music For Robin" still puts out a listing. These radio stations may have listings at their web sites. WERS 88.9, WGBH 89.7, WUMB 91.9, all push & play folk music. Passim's should have a listing throuh their links. There are numerous sessions all over the area, one would be in Portsmouth NH, about 45 minutes north of Boston, you'll find mudcatter''s at this one.

Good Luck

Barry

You didn't say when you'll be in Boston, Jimmyt. If you follow Barry's advice and head north to Portsmouth NH, you can find a variety of music at the Press Room. There's jazz every Tuesday from 5:30 to about 8:30 followed by the weekly hoot/open mike.. The trad session is on Friday from 4:30 to 9:00, and the sea shanty/forebitter session on the third Saturday (Feb 19th this month) from 3:30 to 7:30. There is live music there every night, wheth blues, jazz, singer sonwriter or rock. If you're interested I'll post a URL for the schedule -- Tom

Joe F, can you please post the URL to that link? I couldn't get it to work and would really like to visit the site. Thanks!

There are Music For Robin, WUMB (folk and roots music all day every day), and the Folk Song Society Of Greater Boston. That should give you enough links to keep you busy.

Enjoy your visit.

Bonnie: Oh, dear, I'm sorry, I must have forgotten the http:// or something. But in the meantime, Jacob is on top of it, and his link works.
