Brand new stage cases aren't cheap.

I've needed one for a Korg Poly 6 so I can safely courier it to a specialist repair technician
on the other side of the UK.

A new one would be approx a 3rd of the cost of the repair..

and no way can I afford either at the moment.

[yes.. I do know this is an old thread resurrected by who knows for whtever useless spam reason]

I had a similar need for speaker cases. Mudcatter wilbyhillbilly (in the UK) indicated his wife could do the job. Suggest you PM.

Are you talking bespoke soft cases for general travel, not flight? Try sweet talking an upholsterer, or someone who can do heavy duty sewing.

Good luck.

Can anyone recommend a maker of padded (but strong and weather-resistant) keyboard cases in the UK or Ireland? I need two, but the keyboards are of slightly odd sizes (one of them is fairly heavy) and I want a couple of extra handles with reinforcement. The shape is just the basic rectangle, no deeper than usual; but all I can find on the net are cases for known models. I wrote to Savage & Hoy in Suffolk but they're out of business now, and Paxman seem to do mainly horn cases. I'm not looking for hard-shell - too heavy to carry! Any suggestions out there?
