Hi gang. I'll be playing a short set at Hugh's Room next Tuesday and I'd love it if some of you could come out for it. See this link. It's at 8pm, pwyc, and is one of the monthly songwriters' nights where nine writers sing a new song about the current theme ("My Favourite Book") and a couple of other originals.

Sounds like it's right up your alley, Marion, but I think I'll stay home and continue listening to your tape. I'm getting hung up on your lilting voice. It makes me imagine a wandering medieval minstrel maiden. Besides, it's a long way from here to Toronto. :-)

Open Mike, there's a reason for the theme that's actually kind of cool. It's meant to go with CBC Radio's "Literacy Month" - the CBC is going to record the whole thing and broadcast it a couple of days later.
