My singing partner of 35 years is being dislocated for a few months to Westchester County. He needs nearby open mic venues, preferably ones that don't take him back into the city.

Please help: I don't want him coming back out-of-practice.

Is he willing to drive down the Henry Hudson Parkway into Riverdale in the Bronx? If so, let him try the monthly Riverdale Sing at the Riverdale Prebsyterian Church. It's a sing around rather than an open mike, but he will get a lot of prcatice just the same. I believe the next session is this coming Thursday night, Feb. 17th, starting at 7:30.
