Just a reminder - pursuade your local publican to tick the music entertainment box (no extra fee) and get his application for a premises and personal licence into the local authority by 6th August 2005 otherwsie any application is treated as if new, with all the (even more) bureaucracy and cost involved.
Local authorities have set up large teams (at Council Tax Payers expense) to handle all the applications and thus far very few have arrived. The application form under the deregulation act has expanded from 1 to 16 pages (with spelling mistakes and other errors) but it looks as if it has to be done.
