It is my sad duty to set up this thread announcing the death last night of my Gran. She had been poorly for quite a while.

Mum had been in a home for the last couple of years following a bad stroke but she went downhill fast over the last couple of days.

At the moment I am in Guisborough looking after the Mudcat Watering Hole for Magician and Firecat is at home looking after the cats (minus a voice as she has laryngitis again) so any extra hugs sent are more than welcome - especially to FC!

Thanks for your hugs. I've got back home today and FC seems to have coped all right - though she still has no voice.

Funeral is Friday and is going to be a celebration of Mum's life.
