Subject: RE: maritime province music From: Joe Offer Date: 18 Feb 97 - 04:47 AM Well, a good place to start is a CD from Ground Swell Recordings called "A Taste of Atlantic Canada," #GSR-59. They have a toll-free number, (800)563-SWELL, but I don't know if that will work from the US. Their other phone number is (902)492-0447, and their address is P.O. Box 245, Central Station, Halifax, Nova Scotia B3J2N7, Canada. Or, thake a trip to Nova Scotia and visit the wonderful town of Lunenburg. They have a number of good music stores, and they have an annual folk festival. -Joe- |
