Subject: Lyr Req: Beautiful Garden of Prayer From: wysiwyg Date: 27 Feb 05 - 08:42 PM I'm listening to a full-length MP3 right now from the Digital Library of Appalachia. Hoping for dots and, if handy, a text of the lyric, tho it's clear enough I can transcribe it. Lovely, homey old piece. Waltz. Rufus Woods sings and plays in an interview at his home in Meadows of Dan, Virginia, in the 80's. I thought I recalled seeing it here, but no luck on Mudcat search. Chorus: O the beautiful garden, the garden of prayer, O the beautiful garden of prayer! There my Savior awaits, and He opens the gate... To the beauftiful garden of prayer. ~Susan |
