Subject: Lyr Req: Tattoed Lady From: GUEST,scottlrc@btinternet.com Date: 28 Feb 05 - 01:53 PM The words we remember from a Pete Seeger song - issued on a white label 331/3rpm LP circa about 1972 -1973 about when he married a Tattoed Lady - "On the back of each knee was a small chimpanzee, on her thigh was a"Knight of the Garter" and just for a laugh they had put on her calf eight bars of the "Moonlight Sonata" ...............Some things I found out I just can't talk about, I find they're inclinded to embarass ............ and right round her waist in impeccable taste was a python devouring a rabbit........I loved all the ships on one side of her hips, the view in Peru on the other but I was struck dumb when I found on her tum a caricature of her Mother .................. Ta ta tattoo forever, ta ta tattoo for ever! |

Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Tattooed Lady From: Crane Driver Date: 28 Feb 05 - 04:26 PM Actually we did this a lot more recently - like 25 February 2005 {Can someone make a clicky out of this?} http://www.mudcat.org/thread.cfm?threadid=25089&messages=19 Not wanting to put you off, Scott, but if you do a forum search first, you'll often find the answer here already - and people who've spent a long time typing in the words to a song don't always want to do it again a week or so later. Anyway, hope you find what you're looking for, and welcome to the wonderful world of mudcat. Andrew |
