Thought maybe this might be at least on the fringes of interest in these parts. I'm forwarding this for a friend & have no commercial interest whatsoever in the event.

-----------------
Hello all-

Sarah Hawker, winner of the best country song award at Merlefest 2004, will give a workshop on country songwriting at our home in Riegelsville, PA (upper Bucks County) on March 12, 2005, at 1:30 p.m. Sarah is a Lonesome Sister along with Debra Clifford.

Debra will teach an old-time guitar workshop starting at 11:00 a.m. that day

The Lonesome Sisters, who have released 2 critically-acclaimed CDs on the Tin Halo label, will give a concert at 7:30 p.m. On the bill with them are the Orpheus Supertones, which features Grammy-nominated Rounder recording artist Walt Koken, and Clare Milliner, noted scholar and collector of American fiddle tunes. There will be lots of jamming in between the musical events.

Space is limited, so we request that you contact us for a reservation as soon as possible if you wish to participate in the workshops. When you contact us, whether by telephone or e-mail, kindly provide your full name and telephone number in the message.

E-mail or call for reservations and/or directions:
lutrine [at] earthlink [dot] net
-or-
kaallen [at] aol [dot] com (type "Lonesome Sisters" in subject line)

Telephone: 267-207-1280
