Hi I've just joined Mudcat but have used the search engine quite a few times for lyrics.

Does anyone have the lyrics for I Will Love You Ev'rytime song by The Fureys & Davy Arther on their Gallipoli album?

Thanks

I believe this song was written by Tom Paxton, and it has already been posted here under a different title: EV'RY TIME (WHEN WE ARE GONE)

If that's true (being the right song; I'm not near my records), that's one more instance of the Fureys taking one song, changing the title, and recordind it without mentioning the writer. By changing the title they hope to get away with it (without paying royalties) and the writer may never notice.

No man's land became Green fields of France
Sailor come home from the sea became Cock of the North

and several other examples.

Wolfgang
