Sorry because my english hasn't been improved since a long time.
My gran' ma has offered to me for my fifteen (in 1974) a folk guitar CLARISSA.
It's a sympathic guitar that i alway play with pleasure, despite a Gibson, a fender, and thirty other instruments.

Clarrisa guitars are a bit like Ovations, and I wouldn't say cheap, I paid over 220.00 for a brand new one over 15 years ago! Mines seen some action and given good service, I would be reluctant to swap it for any thing else.

Tom - The only clarissa guitars I have come across were cheap and cheerful Ovation copies , Round backed and with a fancy head stock - Could be yours is an old fore runner of these , or even a modern variety I've not seen !

Hello all.
Even though i only play banjo,i was in an old curiosity shop and picked up a clarissa guitar. Its acoustic and the back has a slight bowl effect,it has an adjustable bridge and a metal brace where strings attach and a classical style peghead.Only reason i bought it was because it was cheap.it has made in italy inside and looks kinda old, just wondered if any of you cats out there knew anything.
          Regards Tom.
