There's a Welsh Music sesh at Y Mochyn Ddu, the pub at the entrance to Sophia Gardens, over the bridge past the animal wall and turn right.

That's it I'm afraid. A quiet week.

It's tunes, mainly Welsh. Usually led by Gareth & Guto of Toreth. Although some of the musoes will be chatting in Welsh, don't worry, the language isn't an issue here, it's all about music.
Ambient instruments usually fiddle, melodeon, whistle, flute.
The beer is good, too, if a bit pricey.

Isn't it past the animal wall THEN over the bridge and to the right, Splott sir? (Then ... 1st right? ... into Sophia Gardens?)

You got it Siân.

Past the animal wall.
Then over the bridge.
Then either turn right by the pedestrian lights on to the riverside path (if the gate is open) and then bear left diagonally across the park to join the service road that takes you right there.
OR on to the next lights and up Cathedral Rd to the next light then right again.
