I intend to endure indefinitely, or at least for as long as this thread exists.

Then again, I heard in a TV commercial that you shouldn't "last" for more than four hours, or else you should seek medical assistance....

And if you're standing in a circle, who decides who is first and who will therefore be last?

Well, it says right there in the New Testament that "the first shall be last" but it doesn't address a circle of jerks.

I started this bit of nonsense late Friday evening, and on Monday it was nowhere to be seen. I had to do a bit of a search to find that a few hardy souls had taken the bait and contributed some additional silliness. Perhaps a few more of you have wisecracks you can add....

*I sometimes visit Mudcat from home on evenings and weekends, not only when malingering at the office, but this past weekend was just a little too busy. It's St. Patrick's Season!
