This was performed by and possibly written by dulcimer player Kevin Roth. There is a song of the same name in the DT but I'm looking for a jig and I'm not sure it's the same tune. I think I remember the A part correctly but am having trouble with the B part. Does anyone have notation for it. I'm also wondering if there are additional sections. Thanks, vl

Found this
At - George Keary ; Bold Pirate

   1. Laws, G. Malcolm / American Balladry from British Broadsides, Amer. Folklore Society, Bk (1957), p156
at http://www.ibiblio.org/folkindex/k01.htm

Nothing much helpful at Fiddler's Companion. It lists the tune, but does not give ABC

The "Bold Pirate" in the Laws book is the one in the DT. This tune was also requested at Tune Req: Bold Pirate, probably the "Bold Pirate" (Roth K/Wayne B) in Kevin Roth's Anthology for Mountain Dulcimer.

I tried all the normal tricks for ABC and MIDI files plus local Conservatorium Library and found nothing relevant.

Regards, John
