Yes, I have a big mouth DiMauro swing guitar type "boogie woogie" probably made around 1950. The sound is very good and it is an extraordinary rythm guitar. I have several guitars but my DiMauro is my favorite.

Yes they are good quality guitars. I would give me right arm for one. (Not Literally mind!)

Yes they are the Django style guitars. I ain't shure if they made any other models but I can Find out. Try doing a search for Gypsy guitars - web address something like www.gypsyguitars.com and have a look on there.

Send us a p.m and I can try and have a good look for you. The manouche style is the style I play, so I should have the contacts to help you

Anyone know much about this make of guitar,I first heard of them by accident in an eBay trawl.
I know that they were french and were known for Maccaferri or Selmer variants , Pics of some of them do appear on the internet and that some are quite prized by the Manouche fraternity Any more info out there?
