Hi there

I'm looking for a guitar/bass guitar player.

To be honest I had something worked out with another guy. We were skiffle/country music/bit of folk/four funny songs I'd written in acoustic venues. Me playing the variax acoustic - him the bass, that he had just taken up.
The thing is, he wasn't too keen on travelling, and I'm strictly pro. Love the gigs, the hassle, crap audiences - in my blood. Then his Dad had a stroke and I haven't heard from him for quite a while - so I'm definitely looking for someone else. I'm in my mid fifties - so youth and good looks don't really come into it. I have a bass guitar you can borrow if that's a problem.

Hy, my daughter wants one too. But she wants the metal end of indie.

Apparently all the muso pubs in Nottingham are full of signs from bands "bass player wanted".

If you find someone who turns up to audition with a 1k bass rig and a 5 or 6 string bass, PM me !

If you'd like to move closer to Yorkshire I'd love to have a go - Notts/Derby is a bit of a trek :(
