She started out in oughty three in a pouring driving rain.
Khandu, he'd been drinking and CarolC felt no pain.
Soon rose to three and ten, and she was dealt her mortal blow,
And the MOAB thread was settled down below.
There were fifty more aboard her when she finally was awash.
They worked like hell to save her, all heedless of the cost.
And the groan they gave as she went down, it caused 'em to proclaim
That the Mother of all BS would rise again.

Rise again, rise again, that the MOAB not be lost
To the knowledge of men.
Those who loved her best and were posting till the end
Will make the Mother of all BS rise again.

All year now, they've been with her on a 'puter lent by friends.
Three posts a day in birthday suits and twice they've had the bends.
Thank the Lord that it's Broadband and the payments here are slow
Or they'd never have the strength to go below.
But they've posted kack, stopped her slack, checked links and websites down.
Put Blickies in her, 'fore and aft, then guided her around.
Someday soon, they'll hit the Eight and then they'll show the strain.
But watch the Mother of all BS rise again:

Oh they couldn't leave alone, you see, to crumble into dust.
She'd saved our lives so many times, laughing fit to bust,
And the sneering, jeering postsers, said she'd have a sorry grave
They won't be laughing in another day. . .
And those to whom insanity has dealt the final blow
