Sick of my weedy nylon strung guitars being drowned out in clubs, I have this very day procured a 'Liberty 10R' mains/battery amp. Hopefully I will even be able to drowned out accordians now.
I bought it from those lovely chaps at 'Antones' on Beverley road.
Unfortunately there ain't no manual with it, and google has produced bugger all!
Anyone know owt about them? How long to charge the inbuilt battery? etc etc
          Jazz, the true path

This may help Ted Liberty or this Liberty good luck with your new toy.

Perhaps the rechargeable battery charges up when you plug the mains lead in. (You can amplify accordians as well you know!)

Les,
Not only are you silky of hair, You are also large of brain. That's exactly what happens. What I don't want to do, is overcharge the thing and have a Springfield type meltdown scenario!

sttaw legend,
Dave, you are a knob! I won't let you have a go on this amp unless you stop giving me links to lingerie shops, I am trying to give it up.

I don't think you can overcharge them, you can leave it plugged in as long as you want.

It might be a good idea to discharge it entirely sometimes, in case its batteries are NiCad. They prefer that sort of thing.

It works!! I left it on charge in the office for three hours yesterday, then played on battery only last night. After giving it a good bashing flat out for an hour the battery is still fine. This darling little machine has distortion and reverb, so I played Cortez the killer and Free's The Stealer on an Alhambra 9F peghead, talk about cross dressing.... oh... sorry... wrong thread..
