Not strictly either folk or blues, but I can't seem to get any info about the Liberty Horn anywhere. (No, NOT the 'renamed' French Horn that jams up Google searches, this is a real thing. Or was.) I've got an eighty plus year old record of a Mr A. Silstone playing one, so I do know they existed. I also know you blew it at the same time as you plucked it. (Yes, really! Sounds like a duet, but they didn't have double tracking when they recorded into those big horns with needles at the end.) Anyone else heard of them, or got any info? I would like to know what the darn thing looked like, for one thing...

Thanks, Brucie, but that's just a trumpet. (I think if there was anything on Google (apart from those stupid renamings), I'd have found it. I'm one of the main answerers of obscure questions on a large trivia site (under a different name)). This is a very very obscure instrument that could be classed either as string section, or wind section, as it is both plucked (sounds harp-like) AND blown (brass sort of sound, but not trumpet or cornet).
