On the dress code...I think I said this in a previous thread but please avoid the colour pink...the colour scheme is burgundy and gold...and I really hate the colour!!!

Could be interesting... you know tradition dictates that you marry the best man if the groom doesn't turn up..... but by the same token, he has to marry the bridesmaid if you don't turn up... I could end up with a son in law who is nearly 10 years older than my husband!

Perhaps skyclad would be a bit dodgy in my current condition - my right hand/arm has a mind of it's own these days and when it isn't touching up ladies naughty bits it always seems to find it's way into my crotch.

Linda's looking forward to it, since my stroke she has to do all the driving which means that her drinking is severely curtailed most of the time. I gather that we are coming by pubic transport so that she can get herself newted on the cider.

Limpit and I have been to the hair dressers to have a trial run of having our hair put up...and they did a good job. Limpit looks absolutely gorgeous, she is going to look like a princess on the day.

I would prefer it if people refrained from coming skyclad....I don't think we could get the bail money together...it would inpinge on the beer money!!

Tig ... I did start counting who had said they were coming and I gave up at 78...a good proportion of those are catters but there are quite a few of our friends from the Pagan scene here in London coming...

It is turning into a mini festival!...the Landlord said we can have the back bar on the Friday night for a session, the back bar and the hall all day on the Saturday and we can also have the back bar for a session on the Sunday if we want it....I said I will see how people feel about the Sunday!

Linda, depending on whether the District Line is running, it's about 45 mins -1hour to Barbican. Sometimes they do essential repairs at the weekends and close the line.

The most time will be spent trying to work out which bit of the Barbican you need!

Mudguard - I'm always happy to have a chapertwo around....
