I'm trying to get hold of a bloke called Davey Slater, who I believe is based somewhere around Kent (UK). I heard a song of his years ago called "Pleasant Land" on an album he recorded with Mick Bisiker in the early 90s and I'd very much like to record it on an album I'm working on at the minute. Is there anybody out there who can put me in touch with him? I'm emailable at [e-mail] and just in case you want to check that I'm not some kind of loon the band I play in has a website here.

11th June 97 - Davy Slater & Kelly-May Grew
Davy has been a popular visitor to the area in many guises over the years, both as a solo highly energetic and entertaining performer and recently in a duo with Mick Bissiker. On this occasion he visits with daughter Kelly-May who will be adding her fine Irish Dance routines to the evening's entertainment (If you want to know her dancing pedigree she actually turned down a part in River Dance!)

I've already been in touch with the organiser of the Swan in Bedworth and he doesn't have up-to-date contact details for Davey, unfortunately.

Last I heard is that he was giving up music to become a baptist minister.

He was based in St Peters, Broadstairs.
