GRIMSBY FOLK CLUB SWARBAID CONCERT

As many of you will already be aware Fairport fiddler Dave Swarbrick underwent a lung transplant operation towards the end of last year. The operation has been a great success but will prevent his working as a musician for some months to come. Over recent months, Operation Swarb Aid has been staging benefit concerts all over the UK to help tide one of folk music's heroes over till he's back out on the circuit again.

As part of Operation Swarbaid Grimsby Folk Club will be staging a benefit concert at the Spider's Web on Sunday April 10th. Guests include:- Monkey's Orphan; Keith Kendrick & Sylvia Needham; Clarty Sough; plus Doug Eunson and Sarah Matthews; from top midlands band Cross 'o the Hands.
