I remember this song from when I was little and it went like this.

Grandma had a Billy goat
She had it disinfected
It could have slept in grandpa's bed
But the Billy Goat Objected

Ho Hum the tune is done
The words don't mean a thing
Isn't that a silly song
for anyone to sing"

I googled it and only came up with some Snow White Lyrics, but these ones were not in that rendition.

I am looking for other verses if anyone can help.

I thought it was "the tune is dumb, the words don't mean a thing". Pinoccio springs to mind - got no strings to hold me down etc.

probably from the Snow White song - I imagine there are lots of verse out there people made up because they only remembered the chorus:

I grew up with a copy of the sheet music,
if you can believe it.
And I don't recall the verse about
the disinfected billy goat.
This is the verse I DO recall
that wasn't in the film:


The minute after I was born,
