I'm sure many of you are sick and tired of my plugs for WWOZ, the world's greatest radio station, but some of you may be interested to know that this entire weekend is dedicated to broadcasting live performances from the French Quarter Festival.

Henry Butler is on right now; Coco Robicheaux kicked off the proceedings about an hour ago. Live coverage will continue throughout the afternoon and evening today, tomorrow, and Sunday (April 8-9-10, 2005).

Here's a clicky for the live broadcast stream; once there, you can easily navigate to another page on the WWOZ website for a listing of the scheduled performers.

If you hear a voice in the crowd hollering "yeah you rite" at the end of a song, it just might be me. ;^)
