Subject: Folklore: Songs about songs/tunes From: George Seto - af221@chebucto.ns.ca Date: 09 Apr 05 - 12:58 PM In trying to track down the lyrics for the song Hurricane of Reels, in a recent thread, I came across a website that kept a list (and lyrics for most) of songs which mentioned other songs in them. I had thought that such a discussion had ensued at the Mudcat, but was unable to find one on this subject. However, I see that one song Folksingers' Ball is one of those songs. There seems to be a second one now; Folksingers' Ball II Any other suggestions? |
