The Battlefield Band again wowed all in attendance at the The Chocolate Church in Bath, Maine, on April 9, 2005, the last stop on their North American Tour! They were even better than last year! The band did all too much to make it look effortless...but I'm sure it wasn't. The lead guitar work and lead singing of Pat Kilbridge was a welcome embelishment to the sound of Battlefield Band and the band lets him sing lead and solo on guitar...Great Stuff! I Loved It! Alan Reid let his band play like it should! Alan let everyone play at the right time ... a true bandleader! Alasdaiar White was his virtuoso self in this concert... I love his music!
Mike Katze plays the Highland Bagpipes like no other Registered Scot. I will only like to hear it his way.

Peter

Ooh yes - I love the Battlefield Band. I wish they'd come back to Oz again!

I was away on the other side of the continent, so missed them. Had aa bit of a weird moment, though, when flipping through a Boston-based newspaper(The Irish Emigrant) Sunday night. They were running a publicity photo of The Battlefield Band that had to have been 3+ years old. The people pictured were: Alan Reid, Mike Katz, John McCusker and Davy Steele. I wonder if the people responsible for publishing the photo realize that Davy has been dead for three years?
