Watch out for Damien Barbers' bottom.. it's exquisite - but you probably have to be a female of a certain age to appreciate it.

Ekhi's gone now.
Just me here.
But being 'positive' about something is just what she meant when she coined the 'thread-head'.
Let the 'downers' put up their own she said, they don't have to even read the positive one.
I'll be there this year too.
You can count on it!

This is message 10, and it's managed to stay positive - what a nice surprise.

I am looking forward to meeting as many new people as possible at my first Sidmouth aswell, and sharing good music, beer and times!!

You could call it the Mary Ellen Carter Festival, cos it is rising again! I've only ever been to Sidmouth once, and that was in 2001, when I was with the Solidarity choir visiting from Oz.

But for a little thing called money, and being on the other side of the world, I'd love to come this year and enjoy it in its new incarnation, but alas, I can only follow its progress with interest from a distance. I'd love to meet some of you people - oh well, maybe another year.

I certainly wish everyone involved my best wishes and hopes for its success!

Jenny

We'll have to re-name it the Phoenix Festival.....a new one born from the ashes of the old...

Can't do with the handful of detractors snipeing away at something they wish to fail. What kind of twisted mind-set is that?

Why I'll be attending for the first time....
The prospect of a holiday in decent weather in what looks one helluva fine setting. But mostly....

What a line up! I'm keen to see ALL these and many others too.
(listed purely in alphabetical order)

Ashley Hutchings' Rainbow Chasers
Battlefield Band
Bellowhead
Damien Barber (Demon Barber Roadshow? Website doesn't make that clear.)
Dr. Faustus
Duncan McFarlane Band
Harvey Andrews
Jez Lowe
John Kirkpatrick
Kathryn Tickell Band
Last Night's Fun
Les Chauffers à Pieds
Little Johnny England
Show of Hands
Strawhead
Whapweasel

...and there'll be dancing, sessions...and beer!
That'll do for me.
Peace. Ekhi (borrowing someone elses PC to finally contribute a tuppence worth)
