Anyone who attended the slightly secret Maidstone Festival last year, will remember the session in the Greyhound on Saturday Night. This year, we are running a Folk Weekend, to raise money for the Five Acre Wood School for autistic kids. Hopefully it will go something like this --------- Friday 10th 20.00hrs Hobsons Choice and Fiddlefit Saturday 11th 1400hrs Singaround ( all wellcome ) 19.00hrs Floor Spots. Will be there. I will not (on principle) book a slot.

I may be there in new "corporate" form with Jeff, as RC2. This is of course, "arsey two" for attitude and figures, but also stands for Roger the Chorister II as he was one of the founder members of the orignal four-piece Roger the Chorister.

Ummm, this isn't the same weekend as it was last year, is it? There's quite a clash that weekend & I don't think I'll be able to come along after all. Bu**er, I'd have liked to come too....
