Plans are being made for the 5th Annual Acoustic Music Camp Out.
This is going to be a great time to be in Northern California.
Camp Hoot 'N' Holler is a tradition for the first weekend in June.
It has not gotten blazing hot yet, and fire danger is still low.

Sponsored by the Butte Folk Music Society, we gather
in a campground on the shores of a lake in the mountains.
It is less than an hour from Chico, Oroville or Paradise.

We always meet the weekend after the Strawberry Music Festival.

There are not electric hookups, but i will have access to a generator
if you need one for curling irons, toaster, etc. but not for amps.
speakers, etc. Several catters have attended this, and gave good reviews. (the check's in the mail, folks, thanks for your good words!)

This will be an extension of the monthly acoustic jam that is held
in the town of Chico on the first weekend of the month. I will be
there for at least 24 hours....from noon saturday to noon sunday...
and probably friday night as well. the campground has very
rreasonalbe fees...$7 per night per vehicle, so pile a bunch of
friends, tents, instruments, in your vehicle and come out up!
We are in the foothills above the Sacramento River Valley at
about 2500 feet. There are tall pine trees, fishing and good
