Hey chaps we are having an evening in aid of Cyril Tawney at the Windward club on Friday 20th May, we already have Johnny Collins plus the regulars but are looking for more performers who would like to show their appreciation to one of the real legends of the folk world.

Can we count on a contingent from Barton supporting this aid evening for his widow Rosemary?

Start 7.30 ends 11.30 if not later!

at the Duke of Marlborough
St Albans

he played our club in Nov 2002 and it was an unforgettable evening, finished at 2.00 a.m !!

There's gotta be a song in that

Hi Martin - no way - you were teriff

Not sure about Friday

I have a week ahead that threatens to tear my soul apart

and it didn't start very well today

How's that for being dramatic - maybe I could write scripts for Crossroads

What's that about then Martin?

I won't be able to make Letchworth tonight - I have a cold, sore throat, temperature and aching joints - Who'd have thought in May

And I never casted me clout

I went to see Eddie Walker at Redbourn last night - lots of 1920's blues written by people you've never heard of; worth the admission fee to watch Eddie's facial expressions alone - man; there was a lot of pain

I am getting over a cold like yours as well, it's not mine is it? Who is this Anthony chap anyway? I am going to be in Robin Hoods Bay that day sorry.
