Subject: RE: Sidmouth: Is no news good news? From: GUEST Date: 06 May 05 - 06:43 AM What is happening about co-ordinating ceilidhs at sidmouth? Which bands are on where and when? In particular, who if anyone is organising what in the Anchor Gardens, it used to be my favourite meeting point at lunch time butI'd guess there would be difficulty charging people getting in through the pub, and stop commuting between the dancing and the sessions. |

Subject: RE: Sidmouth: Is no news good news? From: GUEST Date: 03 May 05 - 03:22 PM Puzzled Pig - this board has no connection with this year's events at Sidmouth. If you want definitive answers the best thing is to approach the organisers direct. |

Subject: RE: Sidmouth: Is no news good news? From: GUEST,DMcF Date: 03 May 05 - 10:22 AM Things are still happening - fret not. For example. A contract for my band to play on the last Friday evening arrived just over a week ago - full details re. fee, changing rooms, accomodation requirements etc - this, despite us being among the lesser known artistes appearing. All things take time. Everything seems to be moving along sweetly and efficiently to our view. Patience good folk. See you all there for a grand time - Duncan |

Subject: RE: Sidmouth: Is no news good news? From: GUEST,Bugsy Date: 02 May 05 - 04:57 PM The Seered website says "Tickets will be on sale in May". It's now May so presumably tickets will soon be on sale. I agree it would be helpful if the Folk Week website could be updated. It gives a bad impression when the last update was a month ago. Makes the Folk Week look amateurish which it is not. |
Subject: Sidmouth: Is no news good news? From: GUEST,Puzzled Pig Date: 02 May 05 - 04:50 PM Just been looking at the Sidmouth Folk week website and newsletter but it doesn't appear to have been updated since 2nd April! Bit worrying. Has nothing progressed since then? Is there still no news on tickets? Helllooooo. Is there still life down there in deepest Devon? |
