The 4th Monday Folk Session at the Market Inn, Castlehill Rd, Ayr every 4th Monday of the month. This month featuring Heather Heywood as a fringe event for the 'burns an a that' festival.

The session features a guest most months for the first half, followed by a singaround after the break. All welcome, singers, musicians, listeners.....
Upstairs at the Market Inn, Ayr, one of Ayr's oldest pubs and a non-smoking venue........

Many would give a hen's tooth to have Heather as part of a "fringe".:0)
She sang beautifully at The National Festival in Sutton Bonnington last month.

A great night is assured. I like the format of guest first then a singaround.

thnx for the comment john,we have found a guest half followed by an open session works fairly well.....
and yes, will be a grt night tomorrow in ayr with heather.. looking forward to it....
anybody in the vicinity of ayr monday 23rd... pls come along and support the 4th monday session but more importantly support heather in concert.. then contribute a song or tune....
