Subject: Eliza & Norma on Irish telly From: Bonnie Shaljean Date: 03 May 05 - 07:14 PM Anybody catch Eliza Carthy & Norma Waterson tonight on "The View" (arts review programme aired on RTE television from Dublin)? They duetted a great major-key version of The Raggle Taggle Gypsies which I hadn't heard before, along with melodeon and Liza's fiddle. Brilliant stuff… |

The 'Daughters' include June Tabor, Kathryn Williams and Thea Gilmore as well as Eliza and Norma. I'm unsure as to whether Tim Van E. is going to be a daughter in this context. |
