I know nothing of him from personal experience, but I've just noticed he's at Llantrisant next week (May 18th), and numerous other gigs.

I will not beable to see him either at Llantrisant as i am at a conference in London from Wednesday till Saturday.
Its a great shame i will miss a talented person like John.

John McCormick is a very talented guitar player and singer. He resides in San Francisco, has toured widely and has a number of recordings to his credit. He plays finger-picking style guitar and does it extremely well. His tour of England will probably consist of more American songs but he has an excellent repetoire of English and Irish songs as well. John is at his best in front of an audience and always puts on an excellent show.

Schantieman was not there! He was probably either sailing or visiting Sal. But I was!
He went down well, audience a bit small( 40 odd), I thoughly enjoyed him. Good tasteful guitar work, nice mellow voice, good mix of songs both trad and contemp.
