5/17/1923, Sandy Hill, South Carolina:
29 adults, 48 children die at grade school play.

          Their brave daddies they were trying to their little ones to go
          But the brave old fellows perished, went with them up from the show
          Little children they were trampled in that mighty rolling flame
          Others on that night were screaming, death was dealing just the same
