Hi all,

I wanted to let the folks in the Greater Boston, MA area know that I'll be performing songs from the Helen Hartness Flanders Collection this Saturday, May 21st in a house concert sponsored by the
Folk Song Society of Greater Boston

I am extremely fortunate to have my good friend, Michael DeLalla helping me out on guitar for this concert. This can also be considered a preview of my new CD, "Dad's Dinner Pail and Other Songs From the Helen Hartness Flanders Collection" due out in June.

On Wed. May 18th (tomorrow), Michael and I will also be interviewed on WUMB's "Live at Noon with Marilyn Rae Byer"

Thanks for letting me do this shameless self promotion as I thought some folks here might be interested in this concert.

Debra

Thought you were performing 1st world war songs or even the songs of Michael Flanders.

Glad that's cleared up then.

All the best.

Now to research Helen Hartness

Yeah, I had thought about that when I started the thread, but I couldn't fit Helen Hartness Flanders into the thread title. Maybe Joe or a clone could help out?

Is the thread title better now, Deb?

Deb did a house concert at my place several years ago, and it was downright wonderful. She has a strong, pure voice and a very intelligent way of interpreting songs.

Nice person, too.

Deb! I wish you'd come a little further north to do it!
I can't come Saturday, but I'd love to hear you and sing with you again!
