Well...I AM here and I am so GRATEFULl to be so!! I will read the other threads, today, I hope. For the momement, please know there is never going to be anyway to express enough gratitude for all of you and your help. I had no idea the amount courage one would need to go through this. The best word to sum it all up is GRATEFULL.

More later, after some more rest, and YES, Spawdarlin'...Peach O'My Heart...walking, too!:-) (What a psychological concept...FEELING like going for a walk, instead of completetly tired at the thought, alone!)

Great news!!! I second Rue's thanks for the updates and info supplied on the other thread. It helped me understand Kat's situation and challenges and some of that info helped me to understand certain things about my own, far less serious, recoup.

Kat, you are blessed with those good friends.

First, be sure to check the other thread where some of us had already left Welcome Home wishes!!! Don't want you to miss a single one!!

AND SECOND..........

Belay all that crap about lounging in bed. Now is not the time to lounge about in bed.....and you know that! Get out and walk as per schedule and return to some very light home duties. When you sit, keep your feet elevated. You'll get plenty of rest but if it's not rest time, get up and do something like spend 15 minutes with every animal in the house (this can of course include Roger or not). Extend your walking time a bit every day. After a few days, get out on some short trips for shopping or whatever. Schedule a meal at your favorite restaurant with Rog and Rue for two weeks from today and be sure you go. During the first few days, think about the things you want to do daily in normal life and then start by adding some of that in every day over the next month.

That's how you get well and feel better.......not by lounging in bed!

And ya' know I luvya' or I wouldn't say it!!!

Let the house stay messy for a while. Unless of course all of this help hanging around knows where everything goes so you can find it again when you go looking for it. :)

Great news! How lovely to be able to sleep in your own bed again and be surrounded by your things!    Just take it easy and feel that pink cloud of love from all of us surrounding you.
