Subject: Brookwoods playing at Bestfest

The Brookwoods, nearly famous knockoff coverband of Kingston Trio, Peter, Paul and Mary and all things commercial in the 60s, will be playing at Bestfest Saturday May 21. This is a new festival with thoughts on becoming a bluegrass festival but it is in its infancy. There is an open session tomorrow on the street in downtown Dalton, Georgia, and I thought I would just drag the bass out and attend and see what happens. As it works out, all four of us want to attend so we will be there playing Tom Dooley et al and I am sure the audience will wonder just what the heck kind of "Bluegrass" we are playing. Anyway, I will report back to let you all know how we are received. jimmyt
