Subject: RE: As the Ages Roll From: Barbara Shaw Date: 17 Dec 98 - 09:02 PM Max, how come I can't put a tracer on this thread? And how come the subject is not filled in except for RE: in the reply box? Whaddami doing wrong? I reset the cookie. Can anyone else trace this thread? (Not that there's anything worth reading yet. . .)

Subject: RE: As the Ages Roll From: Joe Offer Date: 17 Dec 98 - 09:04 PM Hi, Barbara, if you put the entire thread title within quotation marks, Mudcat isn't able to read it in all functions. I'll betcha that's why you can't trace it. It's probably best for us not to use quotation marks in thread titles. I transferred your request to this thread, which has no quotes in the title; and I'll delete the messages in the other thread so it will disappear. Then see if you can trace this new thread. Seems to work OK for me. -Joe Offer-

Subject: RE: As the Ages Roll From: Barbara Shaw Date: 17 Dec 98 - 10:14 PM Hi Joe. You saved the day again. I tried a few other threads with quotes and couldn't trace them either. Never noticed this before. Thanks! So now, back to the subject at hand. . . |

Subject: RE: As the Ages Roll From: Barbara Shaw Date: 18 Dec 98 - 05:13 PM Hello. It's me doing my monologue again, with one short interruption by Joe for technical difficulties ;-) Remembered another thing about the song. The singers said it was from some old hymnal. |

Subject: RE: As the Ages Roll From: Nathan Date: 18 Dec 98 - 05:26 PM A few questions that might help someone find it (realizing you may not know any of the answers). Are you sure af the title? Is it old or new? Do you remember any of the lyrics? I have a pretty good collection of hymnals at home, and if the song's been around a while I may be able to find it. Nathan Sarvis Denton, Texas |

Subject: RE: As the Ages Roll From: Barbara Shaw Date: 02 Mar 99 - 08:09 PM Thought I'd bring this up again, since I'm still looking for the hymn. Found out that it was written by Mosie Lister, but still can't find the music, lyrics or anyone else who's ever heard of it. Hope I run into the same couple this summer who sang it last summer at Pemi Valley. |
