Its one of the best little festivals in Australia and this year will be held at fabulous Glen Helen Resort about 60ks out from Alice Springs (Northern Territory) from Friday 10th to the Monday 13th June. I believe there is still bunk-house accomodation to be had in addition to plenty of camping.
Our special guests this year are Eric Bogle and John Munro but there are many talented regulars from all round Australia such as John from Brisbane, Stewie from Darwin, members of the 'Shiny Bums' and Ted Egan to mention just a few.
A full fun and friendly weekend is guaranteed with lots of session singing, Irish music sessions, concerts, workshops and enormous amounts of the amber fluid or whatever else your poison happens to be!

Do yourself a favour - come and experience the hospitality of a Territory festival held in one of the most stupendously beautiful places in Australia, the Western MacDonnell Ranges.

If I had this in my sights a bit earlier, I would be there with bells on.

I've been intending to make a trip to the Centre this winter ... and the Top Half Festival would have been enough to get me there a bit early in our winter. (I should have spent more time checking out the interstate festival listings!)
